The Vampire Facelift® is a non-surgical way of both restoring shape and improving tone and texture, as well as literally rejuvenating new and younger tissue!
1. The provider uses a Hyaluronic Acid (HA) filler (like Juvederm) in a very specific way to create a beautiful, natural shape to the face.
Providers of the Vampire Facelift® procedure take into account the mathematics of beauty as defined by much research (starting with the notebooks of Lonardo da Vinci) to avoid, at all costs, creating an unnatural shape. These ideas about the HA fillers are not commonly known even among the best cosmetic surgeons and constitute part of the intellectual property protected by the trademarked name, Vampire Facelift®. (Note: In men, the goal is to keep a masculine appearance to the face.)
2. The provider or phlebotomist isolates and activates the "magic" from YOUR own blood (hence the name, "Vampire").
First, the provider draws about 2 teaspoons of blood. Then, using a centrifuge, the provider isolates platelets from that blood (platelet-rich plasma or "PRP"). These are grown factors that the individual's body would normally use to heal damaged tissue. This process takes about ten minutes in the office. Next, the provider "activates" the platelets to cause the release from the platelets of at least eight growth factors that would normally be used to heal injured tissue. These growth factors work like magic to cause increased collagen and new blood flow. To rejuvenate new skin, these growth factors must be put back into your face.
3. The provider injects the PRP into your face.
Using numbing cream and a very small needle (for almost no pain), the provider injects the individual's own growth factors back into his or her face in a very specific way. These growth factors then activate multipotent stem cells already in the skin (tricking them into "thinking" there's been an injury and, thus, new younger tissue should be generated). The multipotent stem cells then develop into new collagen, new blood vessels, and new fatty tissue attempting to "repair" the skin that was never injured! The result is younger-looking skin! The effect of this procedure continues in improvement for two to three months and lasts for at least one to two years! More information can be found at the Vampire Facelift® website.
Unlike the Vampire Facelift ®, the Vampire Facial® does not make use of injections. Instead, micro-needling, combined with PRP, is used to stimulate tightening and rejuvenation in the face.
1. As with the Vampire Facelift®, blood is drawn from the arm (just like a blood test).
Then, using a centrifuge, the provider or phlebotomist isolates the platelets (platelet-rich plasma or "PRP") from that blood (hence the name, "Vampire"). These are growth factors that the individual's body would normally use to heal damaged tissue.
2. The PRP is applied to the face and then a micro-needling device is used to create multiple micro-punctures.
This both forces the isolated growth factors into the skin and also creates a stimulus for tightening and rejuvenation of the collagen of the face.
3. The provider paints the remaining PRP onto the micro-punctures.
The growth factors will soak into the tissue for further stimulation and skin rejuvenation. The skin will tighten and glow with color. Any previous scarring should soften for a beautiful, younger, and very natural result. The effect of this procedure continues in improvement for two to three months and lasts for at least one to two years! More information can be found at the Vampire Facial® website.
Hair & Scalp Rejuvenation
Numerous studies over the past several years have shown that using platelet-rich plasma (PRP) can be an effective therapeutic option for anyone experiencing hair loss. The method incorporates Microneedling and uses the platelet-rich portion of the patient’s blood to promote new hair growth. We also offer Microneedling without PRP.
1. Scalp is numbed.
The provider will use injections to numb various areas to provide a painless procedure.
2. Blood is drawn from the arm (just like a blood test).
Then, using a centrifuge, the provider will isolate the platelets (platelet-rich plasma or "PRP") from that blood. This PRP contains growth factors that the individual's body typically uses to repair injured tissue.
3. PRP is injected.
The liquid is transferred into a syringe and injected into various areas of the scalp where thinning of hair has occurred.
